当地时间2月23日，土耳其阿纳多卢通讯社（AA）对21名经济学家进行的调查，2021年土耳其GDP增长11.1%。
同月28日，土耳其统计局（TurkStat）发布数据显示，按当前价格计算的国内生产总值（GDP）增长42.8%，2021年达到7.2万亿土耳其里拉（近5180亿美元）。这一增长是过去10年中尤为强劲的一年。
根据土耳其统计研究所在1月中旬公布的数据，在2021年12月，外国人在土耳其购房量同比大涨77%，全年购房量上涨43.5%，打破历史纪录。而事实上在2021年11月，外国人在土耳其买房量就已经突破了5万套的历史纪录关口。
事实证明土耳其里拉跳水并不能减少土耳其护照的申请人，甚至还推动了这一项目。毕竟里拉贬值意味着可以花更少的钱买到土耳其的房产。同时，由于土耳其央行维持实质负低利率的政策，贷款购房也十分划算。
