　　I once raised a dog as my petwhen I was a child. I treated it like my best friend because my parents were busyworking and hardly had time to accompany me. But to my great sadness， the dog passed away with several yearsdue to its short life span.

　　I do not like the zoo. Actually，I think it is the hellfor animals. They aredeprived of freedom and kept in cages. Their conditions are terriblewith confined spaceand single food. Also，in order to attract tourists， animal performances are common in many zoos，which I believe is a torturefor all animals and should be banned strictly.

　　I am crazy about lesser panda. It is relatedto giant panda， which you know， is the symbol of China now. Lesser panda is asmall reddish-brown raccoon like carnivore. They have adorable appearance with big eyes and fluffy bodies. They are always playing andhugging and rolling over each other， which is very interesting.

　　Schools can play a big part in educatingstudents about this issue. Children ought to learn how to take care of the naturalenvironment. I am awarethat schools already teach students about extinct species and endangered species. So hopefully future generation will doa better job in protecting wild life.
